Dear Readers !
You are on the website of Boris Gershon, driving instructor for G1-G drivers in Toronto, Canada. Every professional should guarantee the quality of their services, and so I guarantee that my students will pass their tests on their first try. This is not achieved by "special relations" with the examiners, but with theoretical, practical, and if need be, psychological preparation. Should a student fail, however, they will not pay for renting my car during the exam time.
A few weeks after I started working as a Driving Instructor in September 2002, my student and I were waiting in line for the dispatcher at the examination site. We heard the dispatcher wishing the traditional "Good luck", to which the young Canadian in front of us replied, "Why do you wish me luck? Is this a casino or lottery? If I can drive well enough, what does luck have to do with it?" to which there was no reply. Years later, having helped hundreds of people pass their tests, I completely agree with this statement, and I can guarantee: "No fails!"
Of course, people do their real "driving test" after they get their license, and by this I mean driving safely in real life. The most important thing is that drivers won't make errors in this test ; and that is why I teach new drivers Defensive Driving by the principles of "The Smith System".
For me, teaching people to drive is more than a business, it's also a passion. I can teach you not only to pass your test without mistakes, but to drive beautifully and safely despite others' unsafe driving.
Some of my students' opinions about my teaching can be found in the page "Testimonials".
